Client Bill of Rights

Opuluxe Tailored Nursing — Florida Nurse Registry · AHCA License #30212040

Every client of a Florida nurse registry has specific rights under Florida law (Fla. Stat. §§400.0551, 400.494, 400.506). Opuluxe Tailored Nursing is committed to honoring each of the following rights:

You Have the Right…

  1. To be treated with courtesy, consideration, respect, and full recognition of your dignity and individuality at all times.

  2. To be informed of the name, professional licensure, and qualifications of every nurse referred to you before care begins.

  3. To be informed, in advance, about the care to be provided, the frequency and duration of services, any changes to those services, and any charges for which you are responsible.

  4. To participate in the planning of your care and to be informed of alternatives.

  5. To refuse any treatment, medication, or service, and to be informed of the consequences of doing so.

  6. To have your property and person treated with respect and kept free from theft, loss, or damage.

  7. To privacy and confidentiality of your personal, medical, and financial information, to the full extent required by HIPAA and Florida law.

  8. To be informed of your right to formulate an advance directive (living will, health care surrogate designation, durable power of attorney for health care) — see our Advance Directives information.

  9. To be free from mental, physical, sexual, or verbal abuse, neglect, and exploitation.

  10. To voice grievances or complaints about the care you receive — or fail to receive — without fear of reprisal, discrimination, or termination of service.

  11. To know that Opuluxe is a nurse registry that refers independent-contractor nurses; the nurse you hire is not our employee, and you contract with that nurse directly.

  12. To accept or decline any nurse referred to you, and to request a different referral at any time.

  13. To receive a written copy of these rights and any other consumer-disclosure documents required by Florida law.

  14. To receive services without discrimination based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, or disability.
